Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
The Mapleton Sailors came from behind to upset the Lowell Devils 53-50 last night for a Mountain West boys basketball win at home. Isaiah Holman-Gross scored 14 of his game high 23 points in the fourth quarter, including a 4-point play with 1:39 remaining to give the Sailors the lead. Tucker Ford had 14 points, Brody Ford had ten.
For the girls, Liz Harry had ten of her 21 points in the fourth quarter, but the Lady Sailors were unable to catch the Lowell Devils… falling 59-54 at home. Chelsea Simington came off the bench to score eight points; she was a perfect four-for-four at the free throw line.
Pac-12 basketball is on the air tonight to accommodate TV schedules… Number 16 Oregon will host Washington State at 6:30… airtime on Coast Radio Sports is at six. Oregon State… still looking for that first conference win will host Washington at 8:30… airtime on KCFM is at eight.
