UNDATED (AP) – Two people familiar with the decision say the Maloof family has agreed to sell the Sacramento Kings to a Seattle group led by investor Chris Hansen. The people spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press last night because the deal is still pending approval from the NBA Board of Governors. One person said the Maloofs are selling all 65 percent of their share for $525 million to Hansen, who will move the team to Seattle and restore the SuperSonics name.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Ali Gibson and Jamie Weisner had 14 points apiece and Oregon State used a 16-3 second-half run Sunday to pull away from Oregon for a 68-49 win. Sam Siegner added 10 points for Oregon State, which beat its rival for the second time in six days. Liz Brenner and Danielle Love had nine points apiece for Oregon, which has lost eight consecutive games. Brenner had seven rebounds. Oregon State led by three at halftime and opened the second half with a 7-2 run to go ahead 36-28.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Jazmine Davis scored 18 points, Aminah Williams had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Washington beat Washington State 79-72. Davis was 4 of 9 from 3-point range. Williams was 8 of 10 from the field. Kristi Kingma had 16 points, and Talia Walton scored 15. Mercedes Wetmore had seven assists for Washington. Washington State led 40-36 at the half. Washington shot 46.7 percent from the field. Tia Presley led Washington State with 15 points, five rebounds and four steals.

UNDATED (AP) – Oregon has promoted offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich to head football coach, replacing Chip Kelly. Two people with knowledge of the situation confirmed the promotion to The Associated Press. They requested anonymity because the school had not announced it. The move was first reported by CBSSports.com. Kelly stepped down at Oregon on Wednesday to coach the Philadelphia Eagles. Helfrich was appointed offensive coordinator at Oregon when Kelly took over four seasons ago.
