Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
Siuslaw wrestling standout Hayden Miles is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week after he claimed the 160 pound championship at last week’s 19-team Riddle Shamrock Invitational. Miles’ finish helped the Vikings to a 7th place team finish overall. Honorable Mention is given to fellow grappler Turner Wyckoff who brought home the 4th place trophy at 182 pounds in the same tournament.
On the schedule tonight… the Siuslaw Vikings open up Far West League basketball play on the road against the Sutherlin Bulldogs this evening. The Lady Vikings will face the undefeated and number one ranked Lady Bulldogs at six… the boys square off immediately following. Airtime on Coast Radio Sports is 5:45.
The Mapleton boys are in Marcola this evening where they’ll face the Mohawk Indians in Mountain West League play at seven.
