The annual Les Schwab Tires South Coast Holiday Basketball Tournament opens this afternoon at Marshfield High School. The Siuslaw Vikings will be among the sixteen teams will be participating in the boys’ and girls’ tourney. Tournament play opens with the lady Viks playing Coquille. The championship games are set for Saturday at 5:15 p.m. for the girls and 7 p.m. for the boys.
Mapleton’s Sailors will be competing in the two day boys and girls Tin Hat Basketball Tourney in Alsea.
