Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) – Damian Lillard had 22 points and nine assists to help the Portland Trail Blazers stop a four-game losing streak with a 103-86 victory over the short-handed Sacramento Kings last night. Portland used a strong third quarter to build its lead to 16 points and pushed the cushion to 22 early in the fourth. The Blazers outrebounded the Kings and connected on 14 of 27 attempts from 3-point range. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 19 points for Portland and Wesley Matthews had 18.

SEATTLE (AP) – Mike Black scored on a driving layup with 3.7 seconds left and Albany stunned Washington, rallying from a seven-point second half deficit for a 63-62 win last night. Abdul Gaddy gave Washington the lead when he rebounded Aziz N’Diaye’s (AH’-zeez EHN’-jeyez) missed free throw and scored in the lane with 16.5 seconds left. Albany got the ball to Black at the top of the key and he quickly darted past C.J. Wilcox and was able to score on a scooping right-handed layup to give the Great Danes the lead.

KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) – Police in Kirkland, Wash., say former Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens appeared in court yesterday after being arrested hours earlier on suspicion of domestic violence assault. Seattlepi.com says a Kirkland Municipal Court judge released Stevens saying there was no evidence connecting Stevens to any assault. The website reported that U.S. women’s national soccer team goalkeeper Hope Solo was in court yesterday. Police declined to release the victim’s name.

UNDATED (AP) – The Oregon Ducks rarely, if ever, talk about injuries – even season-ending ones. So it’s hard to say how depleted the AP’s No. 1 team is going into Saturday’s game against No. 14 Stanford. But it’s clear the Ducks have taken a hit, especially on defense. The latest casualty is free safety Avery Patterson, who seriously injured his left knee in the second quarter of Oregon’s 59-17 victory at California last Saturday night. The Oregonian cited an unnamed source as saying Patterson is out for the season.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – The University of Alaska Fairbanks says the NCAA is investigating six of its athletic programs, including the Division I hockey team. A university announcement says the NCAA has initiated a major infractions case involving secondary infractions that were self-reported in 2011. The university says the infractions involve eligibility for 17 athletes over four years. Chancellor Brian Rogers says the infractions were not the result of wrongdoing or poor academic performance by athletes.
