Tolhurst was protesting abortions and Clair was at the clinic with his 22-year-old daughter.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) – Authorities say two men found dead on an abandoned ranch in southern Oregon were killed by gunshots. The two men have not been identified, but Klamath County Sheriff’s deputies believe they are two California men whose burned-out truck was found in the area several weeks ago. The bodies were found Oct. 18 near the community of Bonanza.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A federal appeals court says a lower court was wrong to throw out a lawsuit by a student newspaper against Oregon State University officials. The student publishers of the conservative-leaning paper, The Liberty, sued OSU, saying they were arbitrarily limited from distributing the paper on campus. The appeals court says the paper can sue on constitutional grounds.
