On the prep volleyball court last night… the Siuslaw Vikings lost the first game, 21-25, to Newport, then stormed back to win the next three, 25-17; 25-21; and 25-6 for their second straight non-league victory on the road last night.
In the Mountain West, the Mapleton Sailors dropped to one-and-one with a close-fought three game loss to Lowell. The first two games went long… the Sailors losing them 26-24 and 28-26 before falling in game three 25-20.
