Ems pick up a win at home

Will Scott gave up a hit to his first batter last night… it was the only hit he gave up in six scoreless innings as the 20-year old right hander set the tone for the Eugene Emeralds 8-3 win over the Everett Aqua Sox at PK Park.

Eugene Right Fielder Lee Orr snapped a 20-inning scoreless streak for the Ems with a solo home run in the fifth inning.  The Ems went on a seven run scoring jag in the seventh to break a two-game losing streak.

The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes are in Eugene tonight where they’ll start a three-game series.
