There’ll be a public hearing in Florence later this week on a proposal to establish three scenic bicycle trails in central, eastern and northeastern Oregon. The Oregon Recreation Trails Advisory Council which advises the Oregon Parks and Recreation Commission is meeting Friday, August 19th at Florence City Hall. The three trails being considered include the Blue Mountain Century trail that passes through Ukiah and Heppner; The Old West Bikeway that passes through John Day; and the Three Sisters Bikeway consisting of three separate routes around Sisters.
